Sales Manager DACH South (m/f/d)
Lead the commercial organization to deliver planned revenue and margin growth, outgrowing the market Develop the entire team through motivational leadership, coaching, mentoring and performance management; commit to structured talent development Develop the Sales team to become an outstanding organization with exceptional competitive selling capability, applying the most up to date methods and tools available Improve engagement of the team as measured by annual engagement index Drive process improvement and put in place standard work and KPIs using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools Build close working relations and collaborate with other customer facing functions such as Service and Aftermarket commercial teams to leverage synergies and to create competitive advantage for SCIEX Ensure compliance requirements are fully met by entire team (Code of Ethics, EHS, Trade Compliance, SOX, ISO, etc.) Create and implement executable plans to achieve the quarterly revenue targets across all segments and territories Drive weekly and monthly forecasting process to ensure order and revenue forecast accuracy Monitor market trends and competitor intelligence and communicate to the rest of the business
Undergraduate degree in Science, Life Science Degree preferred, MBA or other advanced/continuing education in business is ideal Proven track record of driving sales growth, customer expansion and market share growth in life science instrumentation Experience of efficiently leading a sales team and shown success in terms of achievement of targets Proven track record in building and maintaining a healthy funnel of prospective leads Strong financial acumen with ability to support budgetary and profitability objectives and to realize these objectives while still winning market share Track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining a successful team of sales professionals Experience in defining potential problems and implementing solutions to successfully drive a change across a team Capability and willingness to work in a matrix organization with direct & indirect reporting relationships Working knowledge of Separations / Mass Spectroscopy is advantageous Fluency in English and German is required
